DOCJONES INTO JAZZ

Doc Jones was of Jamaican descent he was married to my Grandmother on my Mother's side he raised all the siblings in that family and he loved jazz. Back in day that was quite unusual for a man to raise children and work at the same time, that was a woman's job. (They called him doc.) Jones of course was my Mothers maiden name and I've always been very fond of this name so I decided to use it because it belongs in the family anyway. I've been a Singer Songwriter for some time now, even though I'm not really a jazz singer,  but jazz is always on my mind when I write a song.

Who am I

Once there was love

How wonderful life is

It's time for change
